                                Happy Leap Year!
Wow! I can't believe it, it's the last day of the month and it's a leap year. wow!  Mom and I were having a little disagreement about the number of years passes before a leap year occurs.  Mom thought it was 7 when I said it was 4.  When I looked it up on the internet I found out that I was right.
Hailee said there was a kid in her elementary school class that that was born on February 29th and she would get all excited whenever there was a leap year because they would get to celebrate her birthday on that exact date.  We always wonder what that would be like to be born on that date.  But anyway both mom and I are excited for this evening.  The season premiere of America's Next Top Model airs tonight.  For the record Katey likes the show also.
Mom and I will watch TV together in the evenings frequently.  There are times when we will both sit on the same couch with a blanket and pillow and watch our show.  But there are other times where we will lay on separate couches.  For the record these are a few of the shows we both like to enjoy.
                            The voice
                             America's Next Top Model
                             Project Runway
                              The Biggest Loser
Dancing with the Stars (on occasion)
In my opinion I think I am the only one watching The Biggest Loser this year right now.  Mom said she is kind of sick of the length of it.  The show runs for two hours but as the players get eliminated weekly mom will start watching a few weeks until the live finale.  For those of you that don't know The Biggest Loser is the weight loss show on the nbc channel.  There are shows that mom and I like individually watch.
                             Her shows are: House
                                                      Grey's Anatomy
                                                      Once Upon Time
The Revelation (even though I do watch that once in a while)
                                                      Brothers and Sisters
                                                      Grimm
These are some of the shows I enjoy: 19 Kids and counting
                                                       Doug
                                                     Sponge Bob Squarepants
                                                    Hey Arnold
I know you guys must think I am nuts for liking Doug, Hey Arnold, and Sponge Bob because they are cartoons but I can't help it.  I still have a little kid inside of me that still loves those cartoons.  When I told that to Hailee she laughed and she enjoys the same cartoons.  For the record she still enjoys watching Sponge Bob.  Well I think I am going to go for a walk.  It sure is a beautiful day!
                                                                                                                           Lots Of Love,
                                                                                                              Heather AKA Frodo

                                             Katey's fun visit
Boy what a night it was last night.  As you all know the oscars were on and mom had received a text from Joy and Katey earlier in the week that they wanted to come over and hang out, but I was sorry to say that Joy wasn't feeling that great so she wasn't able to come.  In a way I was a little disappointed because it's always fun to hang out with her and I was looking forward to giving her the LION KING dvd blu ray that had got into my bag my accident that belongs to James.  But anyway I will just have to give it to mom to take it to work with her.  Hopefully Joy is feeling better.
But anyway that presented a little problem for Katey.  Since she doesn't have a car she now needed a ride to the house.  Luckily Mark was out golfing and picked her up on his way home.  LOL he sure does love to golf.  It seems like he can golf in any weather any temperature LOL.
He loves to call Katey his "grand daughter.  As a joke I asked if mom would allow Katy to call her grandmother but she said no.  She said if she did she would kill her when she's sleeping.  Yeah like that would ever happen, LOL, mom wouldn't hurt a fly.  Anyway Katey had brought some matching plad pink pants for Hailee, mom, and I from Dillards.  She even packed her own to wear to bed.
She laughed when I came downstairs with my pair of pants and said
"I like your pants,"  It was funny because we were both even wearing our our UGGs so the bottom half of us matched.  But anyway when we were watching Katy was messing around with her cell phone.  She has an I phone and she has this voice/ text feature.  For the record mom's phone has this feature also.  But anyway Katey knows french and was trying to tell it to text something in french and it would type the wrong words.  Mom tried a few phrases in her phone and it would do the same thing.
They would read to me what the phone typed.  I was literally on the floor laughing.  After awhile I had to excuse myself and go to bed.  This morning it was slow at first but than Mark appeared from the garage before going to work asking if Nathan ate the pizza that was in the garage outside in a pizza box.  From what I heard Nathan didn't eat any pizza and I heard our border collie Onyx was outside.
LOL, mom said he had a little guilty look on his face.  I wouldn't be surprised if he was the one who ate that pizza.  He LOVES pizza.  He was literally looking at Hailee and drooling when she was eating a couple of pieces last time.  I couldn't believe it until I saw it for myself.  I know he has a huge sweet tooth but I didn't know he liked pizza that much.  Well anyway I better go.
                                                                                     Lots of Love,
                                                                                         Heather

                                 A   mother, daughter evening
Boy what a night it was last night!  As I told you on my previous posts last night was finally the night mom and I were going to see Little Women and spend some quality time together.  Mom and I left the house around 6 to get a bite to eat and to make sure we got there in plenty of time.  We were not sure where to go at first.  We wanted to go somewhere where they served something besides meat since it was Friday and since we couldn't have meat.
I suggested Curabba's but mom reminded me that there could be a long wait and it could take too long so we just decided to go to GRINDERS.  Neither of us were really hungry for a huge meal so we got something light.  Mom ended up getting a artichoke flat bread appetizer when I ended up getting a strawberry walnut salad with cinnamon croutons and feta and dried cranberries.  We decided to get a coffee to go.  It seemed like they took forever to make the coffee though.
Mom whispered that that was one of the reasons she did not like GRINDERS.  She said the service wasn't that great and that she didn't care for the food all that much.  She said they served good salads but her flat bred wasn't that great.  But anyway we got there plenty of time for the show.  On the way I talked to her about our religion.
I asked not enabling ourselves to eat meat on Fridays during lent was just a catholic thing and she she said she didn't know but she thinks it is.  I asked her why we do it if we aren't going to church.  She looked at me and asked if I missed going and I told her I did and I basically told her what I told Jess the last time we were together.  I felt like I had to drag mom to church, that I was the only one who was really dedicated into going and I didn't want to force anyone into doing that.  Mom nodded with understanding and said it just seemed like such a hassle.
I remember Jess offering me to go to church with her the last time we were together and when she said that a million thoughts came to my head.
"Would that pastor like me because I come from a catholic background?"
"Would I get criticized in the sermon?"  In my uncle's church all that pastor did in his sermons was talk about how wrong the catholic faith was and how they don't know anything and how the lord believes how badly Catholics are.  But anyway enough of the religion back to to the musical.  I thought it was pretty good. Mom and I both thought that the actresses that played Beth and Amy should have been reversed.  For those who are familiar with the story Amy the youngest has blonde curly hair and in the book and film, but in the musical Amy had brown  hair in the musical who wore it in braids the way that Beth was supposed to.
Beth had the blonde curly hair.  But overall it was good so it was a fun mother daughter evening.  Well I better go.
                                                                                                 Lots of love,
                                                                                                         Heather

Home sweet home/mother and daughter time
Boy it feels good to be home!  Dad had dropped me off  Tuesday evening after we ate.  It was funny because I couldn't get a hold of mom to tell her that I was coming home Tuesday so she thought I was going to be dropped off yesterday afternoon so she was surprised to see me on the couch watching TV in the living room.  Anyway yesterday she had the day off and I hung out with her.  I went with her to her Dr's appointment for her mouth checked out where she she had surgery.
She says it is doing well.  She was eager to be able to eat whatever she wanted again and to be able to brush her teeth.  After that we went to the grocery store to get the things we needed for dinner.  For the record yesterday was ash Wednesday.   Hailee said she had seen people come into MARCS with ashes on their foreheads.
But anyway because of that we made a fish dish.  We made a pistachio crust recipe.  It was really YUMMY but we could only find bags of pistachios that were in their shells and it was a struggle removing each one.  A couple of my fingers started to bleed.  Nathan looked at me and laughed and asked why we didn't we just didn't we get the already clean ones and I basically told him that we couldn't find them at Fishers.  He shook his head and laughed and said we should have went to MARCS they always carry them.
Mom laughed and said we almost went there.  After we came back mom did some laundry and I basically asked her for for her her opinion and a little help.  As you all know I am trying to write a novel but I am having trouble deciding what point of view I want to write.  I am thinking of either writing 1st or third person.  Of course 1st person is when the protagonist tells the story using I, me, ect. and the third person is the opposite.  It's almost like you are looking at the characters through a window.
I am leaning toward first person but I told mom that I had a problem in doing that because the protagonist has seizures and when she has seizures she loses conscious.  I told mom she can't tell the story when she loses conscious.  Mom than told me that I could describe how I felt during my seizures and could describe to the reader what it was like during the seizure.  So first person it will probably be.    But anyway just like I had spent time with dad I had spent time with mom.
Of course it seems like I am always with mom since I live with her but that's not always the case.  She's always at work and it's nice to have some alone time to bond.  No offense to dad but mom is a lot more fun to hang around with.  Maybe it's because she's a woman lol.  Anyway tomorrow night is finally the night we go to see Little Women.  Mom said we got pretty good seats.
The show will start at 8 and we will head over there after we get a bite to eat.  I will let you know how the show went.   Well I think I better go.
                                                                                        Lots Of Love,

                                  Last day with dad
Boy I can't believe how fast time passes.  It is my last day at my dad's.  As for those who have read my previous posts I have enjoyed every day so far even though we don't do that much.  I thought I would be staying till Wednesday but that's not the case.  It was Tuesday but still I'd take any day to be with dad.
It's not like we see each other every other weekend like we used to.  But anyway yesterday was probably the most entertaining and funniest day of all..  Nathan had came over for lunch between his college classes and while we were hanging out we lost power.  Dad wasn't really happy because he needed the computer to look up something that he needed replaced in the kitchen.  Luckily James and Nathan both have internet access on their cell phones and got to work researching, or at least James did.
Nathan on the other hand was playing a game and wasn't paying attention.  After awhile dad started asking me for ideas on what we should do to entertain ourselves.  LOL sure he would ask me.  I should be the one to know since I am constantly watching Little House On The Prairie and in that time period they didn't have power.  I looked at him and smiled.
"I guess we can always churn butter," I answered laughing. He laughed and he said we need some entertainment and he started singing I will always love you by Whitney Houston.  Trust me, it wasn't very pretty.  He was making fun of her.  He was making everyone laugh really hard.  James had returned to his room and I could hear him hear him laughing non stop in the room.  At one point he switched songs and was singing another Whitney Houston song in the same funny way.
I had to cover my ears when he sang that one.  James appeared from his room and looked at me like he was bagging me to tell dad to stop singing, but I know him better then that if you tell him to stop the louder his voice gets.  He didn't stop until the power turned on.  When that happened James gave me a couple blu rays that I might be interested in watching.  One was The Lion King and the other was Despicable Me.
I decided to watch The Lion King first because dad wanted to watch Despicable Me when we were all done eating and after the dishes were done.  It's so funny because I always get so nervous when I watch The Lion King especially during Muffassa's death.  To this day I still cry like a baby when I see that scene.   I still  try to watch it every once in a while to see if I can get used to it so it doesn't affect me as bad but it still does.  My lip trembles or tears or go down my cheeks every time I see Muffassa straggling to climb up pride rock and Scar just staring at him doing nothing.and when he does it's only for one quick second saying,
"Long live the king."  But anyway later on I watched Despicable Me and that was both a funny and a good movie.  James says it is one of Joy's favorites.  So anyway that was yesterday who knows what will go on today.  I better sign off for now.
                                                                                                  Lots Of Love,
                                                                                                       Heather

                      Receiving a good laugh/watching movies
Boy what a day it has been!  As I told you before I am at dad's and having a great time!  I am glad that I didn't decide to cancel.  I honestly was thinking about it because mom told me a couple days back that James was sick with bronchitis and I was afraid to be exposed to him.  But I just couldn't cancel on dad because he asked me to come over for the weekend last weekend but I couldn't due to Becca's welcome home party.
I am happy to say that James is feeling better.  Dad makes sure to separate my cup so that I don't grab his by accident because the cups that he has look identical.  We did not do much today.  I just watched movies in his bed room while he watched the golf tournament in the living room.  He asked if I wanted to join him in watching golf but I objected.
LOL I can not watch a golf game.  It puts me to sleep every time I try.  When I told dad that he just laughed.  Anyway during the commerical breaks we would talk and he made me laugh by telling me what commercial he couldn't stand.  He HATES the pig where he's going down a sled or sliding down someing yelling "WEEEEEEEEE WEEEEEEE!  He said there should be a butcher waiting to chop  it's head off and put it on a spit.  He once mentioned to me that he would want to see that Aflac duck get run over.
But anyway he just made me laugh by overhearing his conversation with my uncle John.  LOL sometimes they can have the funniest conversations.  Uncle John is the oldest on my dad's side and he can be fun to talk to or just to overhear.  But anyway they were telling some funny jokes that were making me laugh pretty darn hard. ABC family had a Harry potter weekend event and I was watching that.  Even though I have almost all the DVDs I still enjoy watching them on that channel.
On that channel they include scenes never shown in theaters.  But while that was on the parent trap was on the Hallmark channel, both versions.  The old and the new.  I like the new a lot more.  The one with Lindsay Lohan.  The mother and the father in the older film were too weird.
I kept on switching back and forth between Harry potter and the parent Trap.  Afterwords we had an excellent dinner.  For the record we had pork roast with mashed potatoes.  YUMMY.  Dad said we are having corn beef and cabbage tomorrow.  It seems like whenever I come over he plans whatever we are going to eat ahead of time.  Well I am going to go to take my medicine than go to bed.
                                                                                                                          Lots Of Love,
                                                                                                                             Heather AKA Frodo

                            Father/daughter time
Boy what a day it has been lol.  You guys would have guessed I am spending some quality time with my dad.  He picked me up this afternoon and brought me over over to the horse farm where he works to visit some of the horses and the people that he works for.  LOL neither of us thought we would be getting out of the car but the horses were in their stalls eating and the owner Tim and his wife were eager to introduce me to them.  I of course wanted to meet them as well because dad had told me so much about them and how they loved people.  But anyway if I would have known about this I would have worn beat up tennis shoes but I had my UGGS on.
Luckily the barn wasn't that muddy and I was lucky enough to make my way into the barn without a mark on my UGGS.  I met two horses named Coca and Huggy.  They are both brown with some white on them but I think Huggy had a little redish color to him or her.  Dad was telling me that when they are out in the field they will come up to you and want to be pet.  Huggy tried to take the paint brush out of dad's hand when he was painting the fence last fall.  He said he will bring me back in the spring when it's nice.
After talking to Tim and a bit we made our way to dad's house.  For the record I will be staying till Wednesday.  We don't really go anywhere when I am over there but I do love just the different surroundings and his company.  We both love to play YAHTZEE and we will have tournaments.  We will usually play a total of six games and add up the total score of each game and the person with the highest wins.  Of course we don't play all 6 games at once, we divide them up.  Right now he is creaming me and he is rubbing it in too LOL.
Another reason I always look forward to spending these few days with him is enjoying his YUMMY cooking.  There are times that I will  ask him to fix a selected dish because it will be the only time I will only have that dish in a while because Mark doesn't like it and will not fix it so I will ask dad to fix it and I will just enjoy it and dad will just laugh at me when I scarf it down like it's my last meal.  Well got to go eat.
                                                      Lots Of Love,
                                                            Heather

How I became Frodo and receiving a surprise
As you guys already know my nickname has been Frodo since eighth grade but Jess sent me a comment on my last post asking me to share the story of how I received that name.  It's so funny because I wasn't a fan of The Lord Of The Rings when it first came out but everyone else on the other hand loved it.  Well anyway when it first came out on DVD we were on our way to South Carolina to visit my uncle and his family for Thanksgiving.  We only had one portable DVD player at the time and of course everyone wanted to  watch it on the way there.  I was over ruled.  I remember mom saying
"You may really like it."   LOL I didn't say anything but I thought
" Yeah right, this is going to be a stupid bloody film," but I was wrong.  It was funny because it sped up time and when the the battery started getting low .  I was like,
"Noooooooooo not now."  Nathan and mom laughed  when they saw the disappointment on my face.  James on the other hand was driving and wasn't paying attention but just smiled.  On that trip we did finally finish the DVD at my uncle's.  We played the DVD so much it is now all scratched up.  But anyway the more I watched the more I admired Frodo.
I don't know what it was about him.  I don't know if it was because he was the protagonist or because of his bravery or of his character qualities or his features or just the mixture of them.  But anyway my eighth grade teacher Mrs. Maier used to call me a nick name that I didn't like.  I will not even say it.   I finally told her to think of a new one for me and she asked me what one of my favorite characters from a movie or a book was and at that time I was into Lord Of The Rings so I said Frodo.
So she started calling me Frodo.  It's so funny because at one time she thought she thought I had a crush on Elijah Wood who played him in the films but I really didn't.  It's so funny because I didn't think that name would last long but it has.  On a few of my birthday cakes it has read HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRODO.    Okay well anyway now to the surprising news I received from mom last night.
I don't know what event they went to at the Civic center but it turned out that mom won a gift certificate to see Little Women the musical at the players guild for two.  She tip toed to my room and opened my door and said
"Guess what I won, and showed me the certificate, we are going to see Little Women."  My heart beat with excitement at at reading both the words musical and Little Women.  I have always loved that book and I have always loved musicals.  I can't wait to see how this one turns out!  I better sign off for now!
                                                                                                            Lots Of Love,

Receiving a rose , hearing a shocking comment
I wasn't too surprised when Mark came home on Tuesday night which of course was Valentines day and saw a beautiful bouquet of red roses in a bag which of course had to be for my mom but I didn't expect him to pull separate rose from a bag and say
"This is for you Frodo."  As you all know Frodo has been my nickname since 8th grade and Mark is the person who calls me that the most.  The rose was a pinkish color, Similar to the rose in Beauty And The Beast.  Too bad  it doesn't last 21 years LOL.  I intermediately got a little vase and put it in my room.  In a way receiving one rose meant more to me then receiving a dozen.
Dad used to send me a dozen roses on valentines day and even on my birthday.  It seemed like he seemed to send me roses every chance he could find.  I even received them when I had my braces off.  In a way I felt like I was spoiled.  I kind of got sick of them.  I was relieved when dad stopped sending me the roses when I turned eighteen and replaced them with beautiful diamond earrings.
Okay well anyway yesterday mom had the day off and I just hung out with her, but she really wasn't really feeling that great.  She was having some pain in her mouth.  She seemed to be on her lap top most of the day working on something for CLINIQUE.  Jeez my laptop on the other hand has a stupid virus.  It won't let me do anything.
The only way to fix it is to purchase this anti virus security software.  So I have talk to mom about that.  But anyway mom lets me use her computer and my e reader has internet access.  So anyway later on as we were eating dinner and watching TV mom called grandma and grandpa to see how they were doing, but I heard mom scolding and that she didn't like the comment that she received.  My grandparents love to tease but can sometimes can go overboard.
It had been a while since mom had talked to them and grandma made a comment like.
"I thought you were dead."  I was just shocked when I heard that.  I couldn't believe that came out of my grandmother's mouth.  I would have expected something like that from grandpa but from grandma, no way.  But anyway mom said that she apologized and everything is fine.  Well better sign off for now.
                                                                                                                  Lots of Love,

                       Be My Valentine!
It's Valentine's day at last!  A day where you show love and affection to the one you care about!  I always loved valentines day ever since I was a little girl.  I loved handing out valentines cards and just seeing hearts all over.  As you guys probably noticed I changed the background of my blog.  I have always loved hearts, but the thing is I couldn't never draw a good heart until I was in 5th grade.
Whenever I would draw one by hand they would look like a kidney bean.  I couldn't even cut one out of construction paper.  They would just break apart.  Who wants a broken heart LOL.  But anyway I can hand draw one now but I am not so sure on the construction paper hearts.  But as I was watching TV yesterday morning an interesting thought came to me.  "I don't have a Valentine."  When I told that to my mom she just laughed and said,
"What are you talking about, you've got me, I'll be you're Valentine."  I laughed and told her that she already had a valentine, she had Mark and it wasn't the same.  Almost everyone I know has a Valentine including Jess and than I thought of my cousin Ricky in Mexico.  We are both single as far as I know and we are really close.  Well better sign off for now.  Happy  Valentine's day everyone!

I finally got to see Twilight Breaking Dawn part1!
You guys probably already know this, but the new Twilight movie is out on DVD!  It had came out Friday and a couple weeks a go as I was checking my mail I got a notice from Amazon saying that I could get a deal on it if I pre ordered it through amazon.  So I pre ordered the special edition with the special futures.  It has a six part behind the scene documentary of the film.  I was so eager for it's arrival because I was dying to see it in theaters but we never got around to it.  Mom wanted to ask Katey if she wanted to join us and she also wanted to ask my older brother's girl friend Joy who is also a fan.  Of course their schedules are really similar but than Hailee said she wanted to join us whenever we went.
Of course that was a challenge we had to face.  She works two jobs and we didn't know how we were going to do it.  Then when I went to a family party my cousins wanted to join us.  It just got so crazy so in the end we ran out of time.  I mentioned to mom of possibly throwing a Twilight party and inviting those who hadn't had the chance to see the movie or who just wants to see it again with fans.
She thought it sounded like a good idea but I don't know if we are going to do it, LOL.  For the record I it was pretty darn good film.  I thought it remained very true to the novel.  When the movie came out in theaters there were some concerns that had to do with the birth scene.  There had been reports on the news that a few people passed out and had a seizure due from the strobe affect that took place.  My heart sank when I saw that report on Good Morning America.
"There's no way my mom is going to allow me to see this movie," I thought to myself but when I talked to her she just shook her head and said we will still see the movie we will just cover our eyes during the birth scene, but in a way I just couldn't do that.  I was willing to risk having a seizure because the birth scene was the scene I was looking forward to seeing the most so I decided to read some comments on the subject.  There were several mixed comments on the issue such as:
"What a marshmallow" a famous quote from Jacob from the film.
" My daughter passed out in the theater during that scene." I also heard comments from people who have had seizures but had no problems watching that scene.  When I told mom that she said  there is nothing we need to be afraid of then.  So anyway when I watched it this afternoon I didn't feel any seizure coming or any dizziness at all.  I felt fine!  Well better go, Mark just got home.
                                                                                   Lots of love,
                                                                                      Heather

                                  After party, Slippery Recovery
As you guys had known from my last post I was getting ready to attend Ryan Freed's welcome home party.  Everything was going fine at first, Hailee wrote down the directions and we were on our way but when we got on the roads we could tell they were slick and pretty bad.  Hailee apologized and said
"Heather, I'm sorry I'm driving so slow but I'd rather you'd arrive late then in a bunch of pieces."  I shrugged and I told her not to worry.  We talked and we realized that we were lost.  Hailee decided to pull into a gas station to ask for directions.  Sooner or later we arrived at the destination.  Since it was my first time in the massillion rec center Hailee offered to walk in with me.  When I spotted Becca I immediately apologized for being late.
For the record I was an hour late.  She laughed and said not too worry and she understood how slippery the roads were.  Becca looked gorgeous.  She had a beautiful red dress and she had her precious baby Aria in her arms.  Aria looked so cute in her little outfit.
She had this little red white and blue dress on that looked like the American flag but instead of stars on the top it had glitter.  Becca said her mother made it.  She said she also had a jacket that was made out of a feathery material but Aria kept on wanting to chew on it and the material would get in her mouth so she had to take it off.  LOL Aria loved my purse.  I am sure all of those who have followed me know which purse I usually carry around.
It is a leopard print and it used to belong to my mom.  In a way I am sure it still does but I am the one that uses it the most LOL.  She forgot that she had it until I asked if I could use one of her purses.  She has such big purses.  Well anyway Aria's eyes widened when she saw the purse LOL.  OK enough about that.  For awhile I talked to a few of the guests.  I met a very nice couple.  I think their names were Carolyn and Bob along with Becca's kind grandparents. I also had the pleasure of seeing my former women's chorale teacher at Hoover and her family.
It was great to meet her husband and children.  It was kind of weird because some of the guests looked at me and asked how I am related to Becca or Ryan and I basically told them I am just a good friend.  Well anyway after awhile the dancing began.  I danced to a couple songs then I noticed I got a voice mail.  It was from my mom wanting to know when she could come and get me.  At that time it was 8:40 and I basically told her that she could come get me in an hour which she did.  However, I told her to "text" me when she arrived but instead she came in and got me.
In a way that embarrassed me.  I'm sorry mom if you are reading this but in a way I am thankful she was there when we walked out.  I took a nasty slippery fall when we walked outside.  When we walked out the pavement was covered in ice and I slipped and fell.  I took a pretty nasty bump on the head where a knot started to form and my left hand was covered in blood.  My mom frantically helped me up and her friend Katey frantically hurried out of the car and together they helped me in the back seat.
Mom was saying that they should really put some salt on that pavement to prevent that from happening to others.  Well anyway when we got home mom gave me anti pain reliever that she had left over from her mouth surgery along with an ice pack and when I woke up this morning the knot was gone.  It's just sore.  So I'm on my way to a speedy recovery so please try not to worry.  I am taking it easy  today.
                                                                                                                     Lots of love,
                                                                                                                    Heather

                               First day  of blogging
I can't believe that I finally created a blog!  The idea of creating one came to me ever since my best friend, Jess told me about hers.  I mentioned the idea to my mom and she said that wouldn't be a bad idea and she helped me come up with names.  That's when she suggested the name, Heather's corner.  I loved the sound of the name when I heard it.  LOL I am always in a corner when I am on a laptop typing away .  I know the appearance of it doesn't look that great yet but I will soon design it with sunflowers and photos.  I just need some help from people who have done this thing before.  For the record I've always loved sunflowers.
They always seem to cheer me up.  My room has sunflowers.  I love the fact that I can go into my bed room on a rainy day and feel like I just stepped into a nice sunny atmosphere.  I will also add a couple photos that honor a couple people.  I will add a Clinique logo to honor my beautiful mother along with a few other photos that fulfill my interest.  So slowly but surely the appearance will be on it's way.  I better be on my way to spreading the news.
                                                                                                           Lots of love,
                                                                                                             Heather
Looking Forward to meeting a solider

A week a go I was surprised when I had noticed that I got something in the mail.  My heart beat with excitement when I read the return address on the corner of the envelope.  It was from one of my best friends, Becca Freed.  I had expected it just to be a photo of her darling daughter, Aria or a hand written letter which she sends every now and then now that she lives far away but it was something better than that.  It was an invitation to her husband's homecoming party to celebrate his return from Afghanistan.   I am finally going to be able to meet a brave solider that serves our country!
At first I wasn't sure if I would be able to go since I don't have the ability to drive but mom and Mark both laughed and said sure you can we will find a way to get you there.  Mom had suggested calling SARTA.  For those of you who don't know about SARTA it is a bus service that will transport you places.  It is nice but there can be some draw backs.  There was a time when I was dropped off at my cousin's school last year really early and I felt like I was he only person there which I wasn't.  The principle was there, thank the lord lol.  Well anyway Becca wanted all the guests to be at the Massilon Recreation center  no later than 6 and I called and set things up but the bus would be arriving at 4:00 and when I told mom that she was surprised that they didn't have any openings later.  Well anyway my younger brother's darling girlfriend, Hailee heard us talking and offered to drop me off.  She said it was no trouble and that she had physical therapy that way anyway.
She'll however not be picking me up.  My mom and Mark will be doing that after they go on their "romantic" dinner, or I shouldn't say that, They might be joined by Katie.  So hope they have a fabulous time.  Well better sign off for now.  Thanks for the people who are following,  Hope I get more.
                                                                                                                                   Lots Of Love,
                                                                                                                                        Heather
