Love language test; a newly hemmed dress
I am sure that most people have heard of the Dugger family. The family that has their own reality show on TLC and that was formally called 18 kids and counting but if you have been following them you should know that their show is now called 19 kids and counting. I have been a loyal fan I would say for 5 years and I would say it's amazing how they raise that many children and how they do it. Well anyway since I like them on facebook they send me updates such as when the mother (Michelle) will blog and one of her recent blog posts was about Love language. She talked about how her and her children read this specific book together called The five Love Languages of Children.
She says that she will have her children go on the books website with her where they can fill out a 30 question test to find out your results. After you are done you get scores such as
1. spending time
2. touching
3. being able to accept gifts.
4. being told that you are loved
5. written notes of admiration.
I thought it would be interesting to find out my love language so I went on the website and took a test. There are many tests you can take. Of course I chose the love test for the singles since I do not have a boyfriend or children yet and yes I will share my results.
I scored 8 in spending time
1 in Touch. (Which did not surprise me. I do not like to be hugged. Yes I do give hugs but they are the quick one armed hugs, and please just because I told you guys I don't like hugs doesn't mean that you can't hug me it just won't be a big one.
4 in being able to accept gifts. I have always loved getting gifts but as I got older I just felt that family or friends didn't have to get me anything on my birthday.
2 in being told that I am loved. I don't know why that is. I think it's because I have trouble telling people by mouth that I love them. It's almost like I am almost afraid that they are not going to believe me for some reason which is silly of course but I have no problem texting mom or dad that i love them. and of course the course I scored an 8 on receiving writing notes. I love notes and those were my result. Well anyway today I tried on my newly hemmed black and white dress and I must say the seamstress did an excellent job. It was so funny because I kept on wanting to hold onto the bottom of the dress because I was still afraid I was going to trip over it . Have any of you girls had that feeling ? It seems like I have that feeling with any formal gown or dress but Mark gave an approving whistle when I modeled it for him with my sandals on. UH OH I better get ready for pictures before the rehearsal dinner LOL. My family is already is begging mom to take pictures of me in my bridesmaid's dress. This day's supposed to be about Jessie and David LOL. Well I got to run. ,
